With energy prices as they are these days, we need as much help as we can get in trying to conserve energy when running our pools.

Solar Shield is a Liquid Solar Cover aimed squarely at the domestic market.  It works by forming a monomolecular layer (just one single molecule thick) across the surface of the water, this increases the surface tension of the water and helps to suppress evaporation.  Given 90+ percent of all pool heat is lost from the pool surface, this can result in large reductions in heat energy lost.

Simply dose the required amount of Solar Shield into the pool on a monthly basis, and enjoy the cost savings.

The product on the surface of the water is not visible, nor can you feel it when you are swimming in the pool.  There really are no draw backs.

Please note that Solar Shield works best in a pool with calm undisturbed water, so that the monomolecular layer is allowed to form, so in essence, all the time the pool is not being used, but is left uncovered and open to the elements.  Pools that are in constant use will naturally see a smaller reduction in heat losses.
