Hydrochloric Acid is used to reduce the pH of the water in your swimming pool.

As a guide, approximately 1.5 litres of Hydrochloric Acid will reduce the pH of 10,000 gallons of water by approximately 0.1.

Hydrochloric Acid can also be used to Acid wash tiled pools.

Important Information:

From 1st October 2023, members of the public wishing to purchase Hydrochloric Acid above 10% strength will require an EPP Licence.  You can find out more and apply for a licence by searching 'EPP Licence'.  Licences are available from the .GOV website.  This is a legal requirement and there will be no exceptions.  Please contact us with your licence prior to ordering - if you fail to do so your order will be cancelled and refunded and will not be processed.

Hydrochloric Acid can be sold to the trade, providing your business has a legitimate use for the product.  We will require you to complete and return the below Regulated Products Trade Registration form to us prior to ordering.  If you do not send the form in prior to ordering, your order will be cancelled and refunded.

Delivery Information:

This product is either available by collection from us, or for delivery the lead time is 3-4 working days from point of order.  

Product will be shipped palletised are shipped on an ADR Hazchem Delivery Service with a pallet courier.

An adult over the age of 18 must be present to receive and sign for the delivery, it cannot be left at an unattended site.  

This will be delivered on a large lorry with a tail lift.  Please contact us prior to ordering if you require delivery on a smaller vehicle as we will need to quote for this.

Delivery is a kerbside delivery and moving the product from the point of delivery to your storage location is your responsibility.  

We will inform you when your order is being dispatched for delivery on the following working day.  We are unable to give a time or ETA on the delivery, so please ensure the site the delivery is going to is manned.  

Re-delivery following a missed delivery will be charged at our ADR delivery rate of £45.00 (inc VAT).
